Jason Piper

Jason is a dual citizen of both Australia and Canada. He was born in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia, but 1990 his family moved to Guelph, Ontario, Canada where he was raised and spent most of his childhood. For past 5 years he has been living and working in Kitchener.
       
Jason works mainly in acrylics on Canvas. He has been a lifelong artist, but officially registered his small business in 2013. His dream is to share his art with the world because he believes that his Art can affect a positive change in people’s lives.

Recently, Jason has been expanding into the public by doing more shows including, his solo show at Kava Bean Commons Café in Downtown Kitchener May to June of this year, shows Down Town at the K-W awesome fest & the Summer Lights festival in June and July. Khao San Road Restaurant, in Toronto’s entertainment district May to July. As well as Williamsburg community center for July - Aug.

The show at the Princess Cinema Gallery in Waterloo this September will showcase a wide range of Jason’s works. Including some bright colourful Abstracts & some of his landscapes painted from photos & painted sketches done while in the wilderness. Jason travels to places as far as Algonquin park, or as close as Victoria park down town Kitchener to get his scenes.
