"We have been putting on amazing comedy shows in this city for just over 4 years now and have decided to celebrate with some of our favourite comedians! This super special show will take place inside the Princess Cinemas - where we have extended our liquor license so you can enjoy a drink during the show and we are proud to announce that Block Three Brewing will be on site to pour you the freshest and tastiest beer you could ever ask for! The line-up includes headliner Chris Locke, Kathleen Phillips-Locke, Jackie Pirico, Ian Gordon and a soon-to-be announced host!
CHRIS LOCKE:
Canadian Comedy Award winner for best male-stand-up in 2014, Chris has sold out more of our Princess Cafe Comedy Nights more than any other comedian. He's the creator and host of the popular "Utopia to me?" podcast, which has hosted such guests and Nathan Fielder, Kyle Kinane, Andy Kindler, and many of Canada's finest comics. His latest comedy record "The World is Embarassing" shot to #1 on iTunes, and his fluid and natural style has been winning hearts and minds across the continent for years.
KATHLEEN PHILLIPS-LOCKE:
One of Canada's best character actors and stand-ups, Kathleen is best known for her starring role on City Tv's "Sunnyside", and her recurring role on CBC's "Mr. D". She has won "Best Character Comedian in Toronto" multiple times. Her unique story-telling style will leave you laughing for days.
IAN GORDON:
Ian has come to Waterloo for a few of our comedy nights, and his sets always end up stealing the show. He has performed at the Ottawa Comedy Explosion, the "Mini-Donuts" comedy tour, and he has a very supportive and crafty mother.
JACKIE PIRICO:
Jackie Pirico has been shaking up the Toronto comedy scene with her peculiar and disarming style. She hosts her own weekly show in Parkdale called Two Cats Comedy and performs regularly on noteworthy Toronto productions such as Laugh Sabbath and Chuckle Co.
HOST: Everardo Ramirez
Everardo is a stand-up comedian and sketch writer. He has performed at Halifax Pop Explosion, Sappy Fest, and many other amazing shows. He is a regular on "Good Morning, Tonight!" which will be featured at San Fransisco Sketchfest this year!
