FREE EVENT sponsored by the City of Waterloo. Waterloo Region is the featured destination on The Amazing Race Canada during the episode which airs Tuesday, August 13th, 2019. This is the first time the popular TV show has visited the region, and speculation is high as to where the seventh leg of the show will take the teams, and what tasks they will participate in while they are in Waterloo Region.
Several local partners, including Explore Waterloo Region, worked together with Insight Productions and CTV to bring The Amazing Race Canada to this community. “It was exciting to introduce show executives to this area,” says Minto Schneider, CEO of Waterloo Regional Tourism Marketing Corporation (Explore Waterloo Region). “With so much to see and do in our cities and townships, we’re looking forward to seeing where the competitors finally end up, and what they will be doing. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Waterloo Region to the rest of Canada!”
Hosted by the City of Waterloo, this viewing party in Cinema 1 is a FREE event. Doors will open (for Cinema 1) at approximately 8:30. The Amazing Race broadcast starts at 9pm.

Seating is limited (145 seats only). This event is hosted by the City of Waterloo and tickets are being handled by the City. We suggest you queue early to avoid disappointment.
