Sept. 28, 7:00pm, Twin. A Special Fundraiser in support of KW Counselling Services. A pre-release screening of one of THE MOST buzzed about films at TIFF 2017!
This year’s film has not yet been released in theatres and is currently screening at major film festivals around the world. It was chosen by the Princess Cinemas director, John Tutt. Last year’s pick for our Surprise Movie was the critically acclaimed Denial starring Rachel Weisz. We have a history of screening award winners like Brooklyn starring Saoirse Ronan, Damien Chazelle’s Whiplash, Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox and Sarah Polley’s Stories We Tell.
Following the screening, we will walk to the reception at CIGI Campus with catering by Proof Kitchen/Lounge.
Funds raised by this unique event will support KW Counselling Services’ Trusting, Loving Connections (TLC) program that offers caregivers and their children education and therapy to help them understand the impact trauma has on the entire family. For more information, visit www.kwcounselling.com
Surprise Movie Night is held in partnership with the Children’s Aid Foundation. All donations will be collected by the Children’s Aid Foundation and granted to KW Counselling Services. Tax receipts will be issued by the Children’s Aid Foundation.
