This week we premiere the latest film from one of Canada's greatest directors, Denys Arcand (Jesus of Montreal). The Fall of the American Empire is an audience-pleasing crime caper that explores the downfall of society with Arcand's characteristic wit. Also screening this week are several iconic films that must be seen on the big screen: Midnight Cowboy (50th anniversary); Saturday Night Fever (you should be dancin'!) & West Side Story. We have the hilarious cult classic Shaun of the Dead for one night only on Sunday; a popular documentary about the man who inspired the Group of 7, and for those who enjoy the golden nectar from Scotland, we have partnered with Capitol Bar to present Scotch: A Golden Dream.
Now to announce the Grand Prize winners of our Stratford Festival contest. The Grand Prizes include 2 tickets to see the Stratford production(s), a t-shirt, magnet, pen, pin, tote bag and mug (or water bottle).
