Hello Princess Friends!
We have new movie news! Starting this Friday, you can watch the elegant and entertaining THE BOOKSELLERS via streaming. We have partnered with our Canadian compatriots, Blue Ice Docs, to bring this lively tour of New York's book world, past and present, to your home. For the first two weeks of its "run", we will get 50% of the ticket, so try to see it then. It only costs $10 per view. When you purchase your ticket [1], you have 3 days to view the film.
Our friends at Words Worth Books are helping promote the film: if you haven't checked out their online store, you can do it here [2]. It's important more than ever to support local when you can!
Next Friday and Saturday (May 1 & 2) we will be bringing you Princess Popcorn Pick-Up! Between 4pm and 8pm next weekend at the Twin, the Princess will be open ─curb-side─ for take-out concessions! ALL CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE, including Princess Merchandise, beer and posters. We will have a form for pre-ordering.
What was your favourite film of the last 12 months and beyond? We probably have the poster! You can request it on the pre-ordering form (available in next week's newsletter).
Our 'take-out window' will be at the front door of the Twin with one staff member handling orders at one table, and another staff member delivering them to you at another table.
At this curb-side service, please feel safe knowing that we are committed to taking every precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus. We will be practicing physical distancing and ask that you follow all public health guidelines along with us, including remaining at least two meters apart (if there is a queue).
