2nd Annual International Women's Day Screening featuring Seagrass (Meredith Hama-Brown, 2023)
Please join us on Friday March 8th for a screening of Seagrass in celebration of International Women's Day! Presented by Christie [1] and Digital Sabbath [2], this event will include an exclusive Q&A video presentation with writer-director Meredith Hama-Brown following the film.
Tickets are available for purchase through a "pay what you can" donation, 100% of which will be donated to Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region. Counterpoint Brewing will be set up in the lobby before and after the screening with samples of our IWD Collab Brew.

Desperate to find a deeper connection in her marriage after the recent death of her mother, Judith brings her family to a self-development retreat on a remote island. But when they befriend another interracial couple who seem to have the perfect marriage, Judith begins to recognize how irreparably fractured her relationship is. Meanwhile, their two daughters are plunged into a destabilizing world under the constant stress of their parents’ crumbling relationship.
