April 12-18 | New! The Mustang & Fighting with My Family

Join us this week at the Princess for the premiere of The Mustang, starring Matthias Schoenaerts as a convict in rural Nevada who finds unexpected hope when he is recruited to join a rehabilitation program learning to train wild mustangs. Critics and audiences are loving this Sundance hit. Also new this week is an under-the-radar UK film about the true story of a British pro-wrestler and her tight-knit family, Fighting With My Family. You don't have to know a thing about wrestling to be thoroughly entertained by this touching, inspirational and very funny movie, directed by The Office's Stephen Merchant, and starring Florence Pugh, Lena Headey and The Rock! It's another one with very high critic and audience scores (if you pay attention to that sort of thing... We prefer to be our own critics and decide for ourselves!) Having said that, if you haven't seen Woman at War, we've given you another chance to catch it at the Twin. Don't miss it! One of the best we've seen this year, it's a real treat (and it's going to get a Hollywood remake starring Jodie Foster, so see the original now!)

"Matthias Schoenarts delivers a superb performance in Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre's directorial debut, a beautiful film about redemption and reform. " - Seattle Times

“The Mustang, set in a remote prison compound nestled in the Nevada desert, is a lyrical movie. It’s about the bond between a hardened prisoner and a wild horse, and it’s been made, by the first-time director Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, in a style of great-plains minimalism.

"Audiences will enjoy this unusual love story: for its performances, its strong sense of time and place, and its vivid reminder that a war's official end is never really anything of the kind." - Daily Telegraph

“Two sisters from an affluent family re-explore their unusually close bonds in The Quietude, Pablo Trapero’s beautifully crafted multilayered drama.
