Happy Holidays from all of us at the Playhouse! We thank you for your amazing support of independent cinema in Hamilton, and to all who are giving Playhouse memberships and passes, we thank you for sharing your love of good film with your friends and families. We hope you have a wonderful new year!

Speaking of wonderful, we wanted to let you know that thanks to your generosity, our benefit screenings of It's A Wonderful Life for Hamilton Food Share raised 1050 lbs of food and $324. $1 equals 5 lbs of food, which means that together we donated over two and a half tonnes of food! Wonderful and incredible!

Reminder: Our "TBA" slots from Dec 28 - Jan 1 will be filled with the fabulous whodunnit KNIVES OUT. It's a perfect holiday entertainment!

On Dec 28th we present one show only of The Winter's Tale, featuring Dame Judi Dench in a production from the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company. Seeing Dame Dench on stage is a rare treat, and one simply can never go wrong with Shakespeare. Join us! Another special presentation is Exhibition on Screen's Leonardo: The Works, an exhibition like you've never seen before!

We are thrilled to be presenting over the holidays one of the best movies of the year: Jojo Rabbit. Some of us have already seen it multiple times, it's that good! Winner of the Audience Award at this year's TIFF, a reliable bellwether for Best Picture Oscar. Believe it! Don't miss this one, and if you have seen it already, we think you will enjoy it even more on repeat viewings. Yes, it's THAT kind of movie.

Heads up: if you are planning to see Shia LaBeouf's excellent Honey Boy past January 3, please see it before then as we may have to end its run early. This is still to be confirmed (replacement titles TBA soon).

Right now we are working hard on the next film guide for the Playhouse. Look for the new guide early in the new year! Meanwhile, check out the many great titles now playing. Keep scrolling to see what's on tap (and don't forget, over the holidays we are showing matinees all day every day to keep you busy). Blessings!
