Director Todd Haynes (Carol, Far From Heaven) and actor Mark Ruffalo bring KW one of the best-reviewed movies of the year this weekend, Dark Waters. It chronicles the Cincinnati attorney Robert Bilott’s ongoing efforts, beginning in the ’90s, to expose how the company DuPont continued to use toxic chemicals for decades after learning that they caused fatal diseases. The Toronto Star said "It's enough to make you want to chuck all of your non-stick and waterproofed products after seeing this movie."

Acclaimed director, Trey Edward Shults' (It Comes At Night) new film, Waves opens this Friday at the Twin. The film's co-star, Sterling K. Brown (This is Us) is being praised for his performance, along with the rest of the cast (including Kelvin Harrison Jr, Luce) in this "shattering story of a Florida family undone by a shocking tragedy." - NY Times

HEADS UP! Our annual free charity screening of It's A Wonderful Life supporting The Food Bank of Waterloo Region has "sold out" on the 12th! You can still catch the Christmas classic on the big screen with us on the 15th at the Original!

Every Sunday evening this month at the Original we're screening Robert Eggers' (The Witch) new film, The Lighthouse. Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson bring some of the years' best performances in this one. "Pattinson is superb but it's Dafoe who emerges as a giant with a towering, unforgettable performance." - Detroit News

Just announced! On the 14th, The Room Xmas Party with Greg Sestero. A one-night-only event with Greg Sestero (Mark from The Room) live at the Princess Twin, with a screening of the film, Q&A, script reading and more. We are very lucky to get Greg here!
