We thought it was going to be a long, long time, but... it was worth the wait. We've got Rocketman! Music-themed films and documentaries have always played a big role in our programming, and this week is no different. We have a special 40th anniversary screening of one of the best rock films of all time, The Who's Quadrophenia, for one night only on July 21. The wildly successful music film Wild Rose continues at the Original and the Twin this week, as does Late Night. We wrap up our Celebrate the Original series with one of our biggest hits EVER: Amelie. Don't miss The Neverending Story on the weekend! If you attend one of the screenings (including Little Shop of Horrors) AND sign up for our newsletter, you could win a Grand Prize of 2 tickets to Stratford plus great merch! Winners will be announced next week.

Finally, we have a very special presentation at the Twin on Thursday. Author Ted Barris will be launching his new book about Canada's role in the WWII dam buster campaign, as well as screening a 4K restoration of the 1955 film THE DAM BUSTERS. This is a rare opportunity to see this wonderful film on the big screen, and Ted Barris' stories brings it all to vivid life. Tickets are going fast, so we recommend you buy them in advance.

"This fantastical take on musician Elton John is closer to the unconventional Bob Dylan biopic I’m Not There than a straightforward chronicle, which is undoubtedly how the unconventional artist at its center wanted it to be. The story reshuffles reality, especially time and facts, and the film is more enjoyable for it.
