Jane Austen's Emma. opens at the Twin this Friday! Huge news for lovers of the writer and novel... this film is spectacular, a must-see for movie and literature lovers! "Joy's charming work is fresh and exciting, giving Emma. it's much needed jolt that sets it apart from other Austen adaptations."

We've also got a whole selection of new films opening with us this weekend, including the 'sequel' to The Big Lebowski, The Jesus Rolls. Plus, Ken Loach's latest, which explores the gigging-economy, Sorry We Missed You; the relationship drama Ordinary Love (with a stunning dramatic performance from Liam Neeson and Lesley Manvlle) and the super-rich-mocking comedy / satire Greed, from director Michael Winterbottom, teaming up once again with his lead from The Trip, Steve Coogan.

Powerful females on the big screen all this week, starting with live on-stage to the cinema, Fleabag: National Theate Live. Limited tickets left, get yours as soon as you can! Then it's the iconic Sigourney Weaver performance as Ellen Ripley in a cult-classic screening of Alien. Don't forget Little Women and Portrait of a Lady on Fire continue this week as well, both powerful films.
