Sept 20 - Sept 26: A Week Full of Secrets! With Official Secrets & Surprise Movie Night! Plus Miles Davis & Scotch!

How good are you at keeping a secret? It seems this week is filled with them, in the best way possible! We're opening the new espionage / thriller film, Official Secrets on Friday at the Twin. The film is a true story (and a wild one) about British intelligence specialist Katharine Gun and her involvement in breaking crucial news during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. 

This coming Thursday (7pm at the Twin) it's one of our favourite nights of the year with Surprise Movie Night supporting our community friends at KW Counseling! Get tickets now, time is running out! There's some good news this year, we're doing TWO NIGHTS of Surprise Movie Night, you can also get tickets for the October 3rd screening. This year’s films have not yet been released in theatres and are currently screening for film industry professionals at major film festivals around the world. 

Two new documentaries opening this weekend as well, catch the musical-doc, Fiddler: A Miracle of Miracles that provides a look into the all-time classic musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Plus, dig into a modern mystery with Cold Case Hammarskjold. This documentary uncovers the complicated mystery of the death of UN General Secretary Dag Hammarskjöld.

Scotch / Whisky lovers, get ready for Thursday as we're screening a documentary that will make you want to wet your whistle! Scotch: A Golden Dream has a one-night-only screening at the Original, so tell your friends who love scotch! We've also teamed up with DVLB & White Rabbit to offer you a scotch tasting, documentary screening ticket! Keep an eye on our social media pages to get yours. 

Miles Davis gave birth to the 'cool'... and that's exactly what the new documentary, Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool digs into, catch it at the Original this week when it opens on Tuesday. We've got some great films continuing this weekend into next week... Like the new Ram Dass documentary, Becoming Nobody which has been making us feel a lot more enlightned. The Peanut Butter Falcon continues this weekend at the Twin with Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and Brittany Runs a Marathon!
