Perhaps there is no other annual screening that is as enduring at the Princess as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Better known as 'The World's Best Commercials,' it has been a Princess audience favourite since the mid- 1980s. Amazingly, these diminuitive films just keep getting better and better. It's a great night out: don't miss it! We're proud to have back on the big screen this year's most nominated Oscar-contender, ROMA (tied with 'The Favourite,' with 10 nominations). Trust us, this movie demands to be seen on the big screen to fully appreciate its achievements. If you've only seen it on Netflix, you are doing yourself a disservice. Now is your chance to experience what all the fuss is about. Speaking of "fuss," last November a number of musical luminaries paid tribute to one of the greatest stars of all --Canada's own Joni Mitchell-- when she turned 75. The event was filmed and will be presented for one night only on Feb. 7. All serious music fans need to be there! We could drink a case of her, and still be on our feet.
