Cinema lost one of its greats last year with the death of Bruno Ganz, the versatile Swiss actor whose roles ranged from from an angel in Wings of Desire to Hitler in Downfall. For his final performance he played Sigmund Freud in The Tobacconista story of a young man who develops a friendship with the reknowned psychoanalyst during the Nazi occupation of Vienna. The Tobacconist starts Friday at the Twin.
