princess-playhouse---newsletter-banner---600x200---63-up_1.jpgWE SELL ADVANCE TICKETS TO ALL OF OUR SCREENINGS, JUST SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT A FILM AND SHOWTIME THAT WORKS FOR YOU.

Opening this Friday, we're proud to bring you Michael Apted's 63 Up. Considered one of the most ambitious film projects ever, the Up series began in 1964 with a group of 7 year-olds from different British class backgrounds. Every 7 years, the filmmakers have checked in with the participants, and the insights and revelations have been remarkable. This year's edition is no different. Even if one is new to the series, it's a truly special movie-going experience, which we highly recommend. (Special note: The Princess has been screening this series since 28Up, 35 years ago! Special, indeed!)

Seems like everyone has been waiting to unlock the power of mushrooms with the documentary, Fantastic Fungi! Advance tickets are selling fast for all of these screenings, get yours as soon as you can to see a film that Roger Ebert.com is calling "One of the year's most mind-blowing, soul-cleansing and yes, immensely entertaining triumphs."

Iconic throw-back films screening this week include the return of Studio Ghibli's My Neighbour Totoro and the science-fiction classic (based on the legendary Carl Sagan's novel) Contact. The opening sequence of Contact on the big screen is worth the price of admission alone!

Back by popular demand! The Song of Names now playing at the Twin (from the director of The Red Violin, Francois Girard.)

Get ready for the Oscars with more screenings of the nominated films! Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, & the Live-Action & Animated Shorts all continue and we finally have Knives Out! Thanks for waiting to see it with us! Then on Sunday, come watch the 92nd Academy Awards with us on the big screen, for free!
