Happy New Year and we hope you all have had opportunities to relax a little and maybe even catch a film or two!? One of our favourite films of the year, Jojo Rabbit, continues at the Playhouse this week with daily showtimes. Today (Jan 2), we open The Good Liar, featuring two greats --Helen Mirren & Ian McKellen-- in an edge-of-your-seat thriller.

Last week we alerted you to the fact we have to end Honey Boy on Jan 3. From Jan 5-9, in Honey Boy's place, we will screen the all-star whodunnit, Knives Out (check our online calendar for exact showtimes).

The Pollinators opens under a predawn thread of red light along a highway near California’s almond orchards. Hundreds of wooden boxes, stacked like dresser drawers on the back of tractor trailers, are surrounded by a soft veil of honeybees. Bob Harvey, a beekeeper at Bob’s Bees, estimates 18,000 honeybee hives or 40 truckloads will arrive that day.
