FILMS SHOWING Friday Dec 7 to Thursday Dec 13

We sell advance tickets online for all our films

This week we open the winner of the 'Audience Favourite' awards at the Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals, and for a tech-town like K-W, we think 'Science Fair' will be a hit with local audiences, too. Another 'People's Choice' winner, 'Green Book,' continues its popular run at the Twin. Also opening the Original on Friday night is 'You are Here: A Come From Away Story.' The director will be in attendance on opening night and --you guessed it-- we think it will be really popular so you should probably come early for this 'Come From Away' story! Now that we look at it, this week at the Original is all documentaries, including the wonderful ongoing 'Deconstructing the Beatles' series, which rolls up to the Original Dec 9-11 for 'Magical Mystery Tour.' That's an invitation to make a reservation!

“This story sure has legs – and why shouldn’t it? The way the people of Gander, Newfoundland, opened their hearts to travellers rerouted to their town during the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers is the perfect emotional foil for the brutal violence of that day.
